Chapel. Erddig Hall is a National Trust property on the outskirts of Wrexham, Wales. Located 2 miles south of Wrexham town centre, it was built in 1684–1687 for Joshua Edisbury, the High Sheriff of Denbighshire. It was the home to the Yorke family until is was bequeathed to the NT in the late 70s. Erddig is unusual in that the family treated the staff very well and took photographs of them and wrote poems about them. Erddig focuses on servant life and is a refreshing change from the usual way that the NT present their properties.
